It’s been nice to workout again in the garage! It’s been warm enough with a hoodie and sweats. Today was a dumbbell strength workout. I only brought my 25# dumbbells and they’ve been working well for me.
The afternoon was almost warm enough for a tshirt! I’ve been slacking off with taking pictures!
I was able to do the Street Parking Vault outside! I did Inchworms instead of wall walks. My head is definitely not ready to be upside down! I really only have my 25# Dumbbells and sandbag out there. The Dumbbells were perfect for the deadlifts!
I didn’t get my walk in until about 8pm. I actually wasn’t tired and the warmth made it easier to go out!
It’s almost spring like. I did my morning workout outside and did the Rogue Excavator workout (unofficially). I added my weight vest to my sandbag, but I’m not sure how much it actually weighed. But I’m sure it’s way under 150 pounds, which was the Rx weight. My time for the 30 sandbags to shoulder was 3:37. That seemed fast, but the winning time was 1:19 with the 150# bag!
That obviously didn’t take much of my 45 minute workout time, even with a warmup! Luckily Go Ruck’s Tribe N Training workout of the week was also a sandbag, so I did it as well! That put me over time! And was a solid workout, the shuffle was a little tricky with ice still in the alley, but I didn’t fall.
We went out for ice cream and I didnt get any, even though the flavors sounded good. It was a small sacrifice to the challenge! Maybe I’ll remember to go back after!
The afternoon I went for a bike ride! I took my commuter and enjoyed the sights along the way! It was such a beautiful afternoon!
I went out for a ski this morning. I decided to go with my Skate Skis. The hills were a little bit of a challenge, but it felt faster than my classic skis! It was a beautiful morning and the trails were kind of empty since it’s Birkie weekend.
Walked to the post office for my second workout. It was so nice and sunny and above freezing!
I also finished my next book Resilient by Brooke Wells. It was about her crazy comeback after dislocating elbow during the 2021 CrossFit games. She came back and got 5th in the 2022 Games after a major reconstruction surgery. The book shares her story of that incredible year and her ups and downs throughout the recovery and season. It’s a well told story and is easy to read.
