I opted to enter the TC10 Mile lottery today instead of renewing my USATF membership and joining the MDRA team for a guaranteed entry. The $30 membership fee plus the $65 entry seem a little expensive right now. Hopefully, I’ll get in through the lottery and I’ll be able to enjoy the “shortcut to the capital.”

Medtronic TC 10 Mile Lottery Registration Confirmation Dear Nick Cross: You are officially registered in the lottery for the 13th annual Medtronic TC 10 Mile on October 2, 2011. Your credit card has been charged a non-refundable $5 administrative fee upon receipt of your application. No goods or services will be exchanged for this fee. If you haven’t already, you should receive an additional email from MarathonGuide.com, our registration provider, with detail of your charges. If selected to participate in the race through the lottery, you will be charged a non-refundable, non-transferable entry fee of $65 (plus a processing fee) upon selection. The drawing will be held on Thursday, July 21 and lottery results will be available attcmevents.org by 3 p.m. Friday, July 22. You’ll be able to search for your lottery results on the event website so we ask that you please do not contact the Twin Cities In Motion office for results. You will also receive an email on July 22 with lottery results. Please make sure to check your spam filters if you do not receive the results email. Good luck!
