Poor Dagwood. Have you ever felt like that? With the beginning of the new year underway here’s hoping we can all stay on target with our goals/resolutions. How are you doing so far?
I haven’t really made any yet. It is hard to think about running goals when my foot won’t cooperate. I am planning to read through the Bible in a year again and am a little behind on that front. Those are really the only things I can think of. I want to try and enjoy the MN Winter as much as possible (we did get snowshoes). We would like to get to know our neighbors better (hard to do when you don’t see each other outside).
I'm sorry your foot is still bothering you. I know how frustrating it is to not be able to run when you really want to.
I'm actually doing really well with running. I've decided to do a half-marathon (my first) in April, and signed up for the training program. I went to a running store and got the right shoes, so my IT band hasn't caused any problems. I think I'll actually be able to make it 13 miles.
I may actually read through the Bible twice this year. I listen to the Daily Audio Bible (http://dailyaudiobible.com/) on the way to work, and we're reading through the the Narrated Bible in Chronological Order at church. I started listening to the DAB about April of last year, and it has been great.
Good luck with the foot, I hope you can get out there, soon.

Andy,
Thanks for the encouragement and the information about the audio Bible. That is a great idea and looks like a neat community has been built around it. Good luck with your half-marathon training. Are you planning to run the Indy Mini?
I'm planning on doing a local run. This is the first year for the Southern Indiana Classic. http://sicmarathon.com/
