A beautiful weekend to be outdoors and race. Without further ado here are results from this past weekend:

The Irish Fest Run & Walk was won by Scott Overall, of Bloomington in 14:29 (4:40) 2 seconds ahead of second place and only 4 seconds ahead of 3rd. Collette Douglas, of Carmel, won the female division in 16:28 (5:19) almost a minute ahead of second place and placing 12th overall. Four-hundred and forty-eight participants finished this event. Damon Clements of Crawfordsville won the competitive walk in 27:10 (8:44) and Theresa Amerman won the female division in 29:04 (9:21) placing 2nd, with 74 competing in the competitive walk.

The Dick Lugar 5K run was also won by Scott Overall in 14:55 (4:48) well ahead of second place. Stephanie Dueringer won the female division in 17:34 (5:39). 181 finished the 5K. The 10K run was by David Forsee in 33:49 (5:26) and the women’s race was won by Cindy Harris of Indianapolis in 41:20 (6:39) 7 seconds ahead of Chikage Castle, placing her 16th overall. 127 finished the 10K. The 5K Walk was won by Martin Moeller in 28:18 (9:06) and second place and first female was Melissa Moeller in 29:14 (9:24). Dick Lugar actually walked the 5K in 53:55 (17:21) placing 36th. 40 participants finished the walk.
