Race for All Races 2007 5 Mile run was won by John Poray, 26, of Indianapolis in 24:48 (4:57) three and a half minutes ahead of second place. Jackie Dikos, 28, of Indianapolis was the female division and placed third overall in 29:05 (5:49). The top ten finished under 34:26 and included 3 women. One hundred and forty-six participants finished the 5 mile event.
The Bee Bumble 10K was won by Scott Colford, 36 of Logansport in 34:21 (5:33) over 4 minutes ahead of second place. Betty Funkhouser, 50, of Portage won the female division in 45:52 (7:24). Forty-three runners finished the 10K distance. The 5K was won by Taylor Holmes, 18, of Monticello in 17:03 (5:30) less than a minute ahead of second place. Jill Henady, 44, of Rensselaer won the female division in 21:44 (7:01). One-hundred and eighteen runners finished the 5K. The 5K Walk was won by Damen Clements, 50, of Crawfordsville in 26:58 (8:42) and the female division was won by Mary Miller, 47, of Bunker Hill in 32:29 (10:29). Sixty-seven walkers finished the event.
11th Annual Mill Race Race & Mayors Walk (results pdf) Greg Hottell won the 15K in 58:50 (6:18) in a tie with Jeffrey Engel for second place, they finished just over a minute ahead of third place. Roberta Meyer won the female division (15K) in 1:01:46 (6:37) about 3 minutes ahead of second place and placing 7th overall. The men’s 5K was won by Eugene Combs in 15:15 (4:54) just under a minute ahead of second place. A college buddy of mine ran 16:03. Kelsie Carlson won the female division (5K) in 20:01 (6:26) only 2 seconds ahead of second place and 16th overall. John Lucke won the 5K Walk in 29:21 (9:27) six minutes ahead of second place. Diana Kriegsmann won the female division (5K Walk) in 35:50 (11:32) about 1 minute ahead of second place and placing third overall. About 670 participants completed all three divisions.
The 2nd Annual Terre Haute 10 Miler was won by Tim Monaghan, 28, in 1:00:48 (6:04) over 2 minutes ahead of second place. Jessica Crowder, 25, won the female division in 1:05:08 (6:30) placing 3rd overall and beating 2nd place by 5 minutes. Forty-six runners finished the 10 miler. The 5K walk was by Janine Orman, 29, in 42:53 (13:48) two seconds ahead of the overall male, Scott Roman, 48, who finished in 42:55 (13:48). Eight walkers completed the 5K.
The 33rd Parlor City Trot Half-Marathon was won by Fernando Cabada, 25, from Fresno, CA in 1:06:47 (5:06), almost two minutes ahead of James Kennedy of Warsaw. Melissa Gillette, 25, of Niles, MI won the female division in 1:24:0- (6:25) placing 16th overall. She finished 4 minutes ahead of second place. Two hundred and thirty-three runners finished this event.
