Last week was a step-back week which was good timing as I started to feel a little worn out.

The weather was amazing all week long – mid to upper 60’s in the morning and mostly in the upper 70’s for highs! It made it easier to go out and train. It has been a little harder with watching Nadia during the day to swim and bike. I used the YWCA’s babysitting service to get one swim in right before one of our parent child swim classes. I really need to hit the open water again at least once or twice before the triathlon. I didn’t do any official training bike rides, but got several rides in while pulling the trailer of similar distances to what I was supposed to do. I did hit my running mileage target which is good. I met up with my Ragnar team on Sunday for our final pre-relay meetup and had a nice run around Lake Calhoun before enjoying some delicious Punch Pizza. A couple of runners said that was the only reason they came!
Ragnar is this coming weekend and I’ll be running 21 miles in 36 hours!
Here are the weekly totals:
Bike: 39 mi
Run: 16.4 mi
Swim: 0.5 mi
